The March for the Dream will officially begin in the Sacramento City College parking lot, between the college and Hughes Stadium.
In the abundance of caution, we are encouraging everyone to maskup and dress for cool weather.

- [RIGHT] on Land Park to Broadway

- [CONCLUSION] At Sacramento City College

The Extra Mile is the optional first leg of the march for those who consider themselves a “community leader.”
We affectionately call it the “Extra Mile” because leaders will sometimes have to get up earlier and walk a little farther than those they lead. You can begin the march at either location.

Absolutely! The March for the Dream will always be to the public. However, we are developing registrations options that will come with shirts and other incentives so we can build our organization and fund local impact projects.
You can join the march from anywhere along the route, but we are asking the general public to begin and end their march from Sacramento City College.
Yes, Regional Transit provides a courtesy bus for those who have trouble walking any part of the march!
No, you will not need a bus pass to get a shuttle ride back to your car.
Regional Transit shuttles will begin immediately after the march to the Oak Park Community Center
We allow service dogs on the march, but owners may be asked if their dog is required because of a disability.

The Impact Loop consists of individuals or groups who commit themselves to accomplishing ONE POSITIVE PROJECT in a calendar year to honor Dr. King and make a positive impact in their community.
