On Monday, January 18, 2010, Sacramento will host its 29th annual Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) March and Celebration. As Sacramento’s most diverse event, this celebration brings thousands together in a show of unity to honor the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. and to rededicate themselves to the principles of Social Justice. We hope you will join us as we revisit the theme, "I AM THE DREAM AND THE DREAM IS NOW."

The Celebration will take place at the Sacramento Convention Center and will include a six mile city-wide march, information booths and pavilions covering such topics as employment, health, education, finance and personal development, just to name a few. The event will also feature musical entertainment, a fashion show, an oratory contest and plenty of children’s activities.

We invite companies, community-based organizations, the faith community and other groups to join us as a participant or as a sponsor. As a sponsor, your company will receive valuable general and diverse market visibility. This celebration benefits MLK365, a non-profit organization that promotes King-like values in the community three hundred and sixty five days a year. MLK365 uses hard hitting advertising campaigns designed to promote positive values and individual excellence. Over the past 20 years, MLK365 has given more than $100,000 dollars in educational scholarships and self-help job grants. Help us keep Dr. King’s dream alive and jump on board our train of hope!
