SPECIFICALLY, THE PROCESS IS AS FOLLOWS:

THE DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. MLK 365 GRANT COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES THE “SELF HELP GRANT” APPLICATION PROCESS.

On January 18, 2010, the federal holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will be celebrated at the Sacramento Convention Center (1400 J St.).

This comprehensive program will have a key focus on assisting unemployed and underemployed people in our community and will exemplify Dr. King’s commitment to economic opportunity for everyone.

To further Dr. King’s work and assist job ready persons in Sacramento, grants in the amount up to $200 will be announced.
